During the 31 days of October, I have decided to link up with The Nester and gang for a 31 day writing/blogging challenge.
This will be The Nester’s third year of writing a 31 day series in October. Last year she invited seven other bloggers to join her with each of them writing a 31 day series of their own.
They are taking this journey again this year. Just take a look at all of the exciting 31 day posts they have to offer!
Nester – 31 Days of Charming Imperfection
Jen – 31 Days to Balancing Both Beauty and a Budget
Jessica – 31 Days of Memory Keeping
Melissa: 31 Days: Inspired Holidays
Sandy: 31 Days of Warmer Connections
Darcy: 31 Days of Photo Tips
Emily: 31 Days to Change the World
Emily: 31 Days of the Little Things
This year they have invited any and all bloggers to join them in writing and blogging about what they are passionate about for 31 days.
Here at DailyDwelling I seek to “dwell” on those things listed in Phillippians 4:8.
Through sharing my life, my love for Christ and my family, I seek to “dwell” on the true, honorable, pure, lovely, of good repute, anything excellent, and anything worthy of praise.
DailyDwelling has become a positive place for me to “dwell” on lots of things that fit that bill.
Ultimately, though, scripture, is the best place for all of us to dwell.
God’s Word is true.
God’s Word is right.
God’s Word is pure.
God’s Word is lovely.
God’s Word is of good repute.
God’s Word is excellent.
God’s Word is worthy of praise.
And God’s Word is what I want to focus my dwellings on during the month of October.
For each day in October, I will simply give you a verse of scripture to dwell on. My goal is to make these in word art/printable form. Some days I may give some commentary or observations on the verse. Other days I will just let the words speak for themselves.
This is something that I’ve wanted to do here for a long time. I’ve tossed the idea around, but I’ve never done it on a consistent basis.
The 31 Day October challenge seems like the perfect time for this!
You’ll find a blog button in my sidebar and clicking on it will take you to all of my 31 Days of Dwelling posts. You’re welcome to add it to your site if you’d like to point others to this series.

Thank you, Amanda. I was worried that it would be too simple, but this is where my heart is!
