In wrapping up my posts about our Christmas this year, I thought it would be fun to share with you some of our favorite gifts that we received.
I’ll start out with my favorites…
Lisa Leonard – Three Things Necklace
I am a huge fan of Lisa Leonard’s jewelry. I especially love the Three Things Necklace showcasing “faith, hope, and love”.
Photoshop Elements 11
I use Photoshop Elements for editing pictures and digital scrapbooking. I knew I wanted version 11 when it was released and I read the raving reviews highlighting the ease of using actions with it. I have been playing with it lots since Christmas and I have to say that I LOVE it!!!
Next up is my husband, Chaplain Andrews (Keith)…
Kindle Fire
I gave him a Kindle Fire. I was a little apprehensive about how he would like it, and I’m happy to report that he has been using it and is really enjoying it!
Gift Cards
He makes it no secret that he loves McDonald’s. He was thrilled with receiving some gift cards for his favorite fast food chain!
My girls’ favorite gifts were their new American Girl dolls. I had planned to wait to get them the coveted dolls for their 8th birthday coming up in 2013, but MC fell in love with the McKenna, the 2012 Doll of the Year. She won’t be available after Dec. 31, so I changed my plans and they received their first American Girl Dolls for Christmas.
American Girl Doll McKenna
MC received McKenna along with her books and some outfits.
American Girl Doll Kit
EA received Kit along with accessories and some outfits.
Will is really into super heroes and Star Wars right now.
Talking Plush Yoda
Red Lightsaber
His two favorite gifts were a stuffed Yoda and a red light saber.
We were really scared that Santa got the wrong color light saber. Will’s favorite color is red, and he had originally asked for a red one, but then *I* forgot what color was purchased by Santa and through he was getting a blue one. So, we persuaded Will that I blue light saber would be better because that’s what Luke Skywalker uses.
And then I checked and discovered that Santa had in fact gotten a red light saber for him. We were met with lots of resistance when we started trying to talk Will back into a red one.
But on Christmas morning when he saw the red light saber under our tree, his response was precious. He said, “I guess Santa really does know me…he knows that my favorite color is red, so he got me a red light saber!”
Fisher Price Little People Disney Princess Songs Palace
Jenny loved her Little People princess castle and princesses! She immediately wanted to play with the Little People princesses, but the castle had to be assembled, so she went up to her room and brought down another castle.
She also thoroughly enjoys playing with everyone else’s toys!
