This has been a hard week for our family. We’re processing a lot of things and I’ll let you in on some changes that are coming later.
Because of keeping an ongoing gratitude journal, and intentionally counting and sharing my blessings, I have been able to count them even in the moments of hard.
That is so important.
And that is also so against my nature.
I have to constantly fight against my sinful nature that want to be angry and bitter.
I have to fight for contentment and gratitude.
I have to fight everyday to look past the immediate circumstances to find the eternal blessings.
I have to fight page the complaints of the day to find joy and peace.
So, I come to you today fighting my sinful nature that doesn’t want to put pen to paper to count one single blessing. I come to you today fighting for contentment, gratitude, joy and peace and finding them as I fight.
These are the blessings I am counting as “all mine” this week…
