After taking many weeks off from working on Project Life layouts during our move, it was so good to sit down and get back to it this weekend!
On Sunday evening, my husband and I finally felt relaxed and “at home” enough to have a hobby night. He worked on Comic Book stuff and I worked on Project Life. I know it will be slow going for a while as I’m still getting my house set up and organized, but for right now, it’s my goal to be “current” on this project by the time we start our new homeschool year. That gives me just a little less than a month and I think that’s totally do-able!
I’m excited to share my layout for week 20 with you today!
Left Side
Keith was at church with me on this day and he was able to take a picture of me with the church in the background. I loved our church in El Paso so much and I really, really miss it!!
He was also able to get a picture of Will in the children’s area. He’s such a handsome little kid in his Sunday clothes!
The girls received their badges from American Heritage Girls and received a going away gift at their closing ceremony this week as well.
Right Side
The kids had AWANA awards at church on Wednesday evening and we made sure to get lots of photos. This may be deserving of it’s own layout in the future. The kids have been involved in AWANA at Coronado Baptist since the day we arrived in town and it was sad for us to say goodbye to our friends there. I am so thankful for everyone in this ministry who invested so much in my children.
We also celebrated the end of our homeschool year by surprising the kids with a trip to Peter Piper Pizza for lunch on Friday of this week!

It’s when I’m feeling behind and working to “catch up” that I am so thankful that I have systems in place to make scrapping these pages go quickly. Some of those systems that I’m using right now are using the same template (design A style), title card, and keeping elements really simple.
