Last night as I sat down at my desk to begin working on my latest Project Life layout, I was reminded of a quote by Mercy Tiara, an awesome scrapbooker, process video you-tuber, and guest on the Paperclipping Roundtable podcast. In the latest podcast, she was talking about comparing herself against non-scrapbookers rather than other scrapbookers and she also said that anytime she has a chance to sit down and work on a layout, she considers that a gift.
That is the quote that stayed with me and lingered as I began to scrapbook last night.
Sitting down at my desk, in front of my computer screen, to put together another Project Life layout is a gift! It is a gift that I cherish. And it is a gift that I do not want to take for granted.
No, I may not be where I want to be with my scrapbooking at the moment, but I am way ahead of others who don’t scrapbook at all. I have so many memories and stories of our lives scrapbooked. Every single one of those is a gift.
And I am honored that I get to share those gifts with you!
Here’s my latest Project Life spread which covers week 28 of this year…

This week was a bit of an ordinary week for us. We were still adjusting to life in Kansas and exploring our new town.
I had so much fun putting this together last night.
It was a gift, indeed!
