I think winter may just be the hardest time to document life. We have absolutely nothing going on right now! We aren’t out sight seeing and visiting new places because it’s just too cold!!!
This week was a pretty sparse week in terms of pictures, but I was able to pull out several stories I wanted to tell about our week.
Left Side
The first of those stories was about teaching Jenny to read. Teaching phonics is one of the absolutely hardest parts of homeschool. But the rewards are great!!! One afternoon I was digging into the candy bucket out of frustration and the next I was singing Jenny’s praises.
Right Side
On this page I told the story of Will and Keith throwing around the football in the backyard. We had a couple really nice days and I wanted to take advantage of that while I could by sending Will outside to play.
Also on Friday night Keith and I played a game of Yahtzee with our oldest girls. They loved it!!! Both girls scored higher than Keith and I AND MC ended up winning the game!

I may not have had as many pictures in this spread as I sometimes do, but I appreciate that I had more room to journal our stories from the week.
