Friday Favorites October 30, 2009

Well, this has been an absolutely busy, but wonderful week has our move back to the states is trucking along. Our household shipment was packed, loaded and crated yesterday. I couldn’t believe they were able to do it all in just one day. That has never happened before. So, for the next three-four weeks, we are living in a mostly empty apartment with borrowed government furniture. In just one month from tomorrow we will be flying to the states and spending time visiting family before we move on to Virginia. We’ve also made some progress this week with our hunt for a rental house near our next duty station, which is a bit of a challenge to do from overseas.

In the midst of all of that there has been scarce time for blog reading, but a did still manage to find some great posts to share with you today!

But before we do that, here is a picture that sums up yesterday, and the finalization of my week. This is yours truly standing in an empty room with boxes all around after the living room was packed up yesterday.

What a great list! I can’t believe you had time to keep up with blog reading in the midst of everything! I can’t wait to read all your links.

I was wondering how you like WordPress and Thesis? I’m seriously contemplating a move from Blogger, and think WordPress.org sounds like the way to go. I’ve heard that Thesis is a popular template, and there’s lots of room to personalize it. Would you recommend it?
