I hesitate to say that we celebrate Halloween, but we do have fun with this day in our home.
We view October 31 as a day to have fun with our children, letting them dress in costume, and a time to be a light and a witness to our neighbors as we display an attitude of hospitality.
Here are some ideas I’ve pulled together for Halloween in our home this year..
Breakfast
Lunch
Yup, we’ll be heading to Sonic for this deal!
Dinner {Halloween Party}
Monster Claws (using potato wedges)
Most of these ideas I found on Pinterest. Some I did last year and they were requested again, others are new for this year. You can see more ideas on my Halloween Pinterest board. (all are linked to their original source, so just click through to see full recipes)
Games & Activities
I made everyone their own Halloween buckets for trick-or-treating in the neighborhood using my Silhouette cameo and vinyl.
To end the day we’ll watch
It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on ABC
In addition to my plans, I just found out that my girls have made a list of their own for today…
Add homeschool to that and it looks like it’s going to be a busy day around here!

We have the DVD of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! I prefer to watch it on DVD. They cut out too much of the part with Snoopy and the Red Baron when you watch it on TV. That’s my favorite part!

My kids loved Charlie Brown! They went to bed laughing at Snoopy’s antics and about Charlie Brown getting a rock in his trick-or-treat bag.
