Last week I was inspired by Lynette’s Photo Carousel to display my own instagram photos.
I ordered Instagram Polaroids from Persnickity Prints several weeks ago, but had yet to actually do anything with them. I had an idea in my head of what I wanted to do, but sometimes the actual doing of an idea gets me stuck.
Lynette’s Photo Carousel was exactly what I needed to get un-stuck.
So, last Tuesday afternoon, I set to work!
The blank wall space in front of my desk was the perfect spot for this project. (ignore the messy desk)
First I pulled out some bakers twine, mini-clothespins, and washi tape I had in my craft stash.
I covered the mini-clothespins with the washi tape and strung the bakers twine across the space that I wanted to cover. I ended up with four rows of bakers twine.
Then I started clipping the polaroids up with the clothespins. I tried to alternate people photos with photos of random items.
I love instagram and the glimpses of daily life I capture with it! Are you on Instagram? I would love to follow you if you are (you can follow me, too)!
I especially love this new wall display of my Instagram Polaroids hanging above my desk. It inspires my creativity!
Have you printed any of your Instagram photos?
I would love to hear how you are displaying them!
