It has been so long since I’ve scrapped a digi layout just for fun.
Honestly, I have been in a bit of an uninspired slump with my scrapbooking. When going through a slump, sometimes it’s best to just lean into it and allow myself to just be uninspired…for a while. Then after resting in that for a while, I do begin to have a desire to get back in the game so to speak. I usually pick a challenge to get my motivation and creative juices flowing again.
Over the last few days, I’ve felt that stirring to get back to scrapbooking and documenting our memories in a creative way. So, this morning I decided that I would sit down with Photoshop and scrapbook something to get started.
This layout was created for the May 2015 BYOC Challenge at the Lilypad. I purchased several kits during BYOC this month and was excited to open them up and scrap with this challenge.
This purpose of this layout is to celebrate the wonderful church community we’ve had here at our church in El Paso. We took this photo on the kids’ last night of AWANA a couple of weeks ago.
I normally scrap using just one kit, but I love that the BYOC Challenge always pushes me to pull from various kits and designers. The requirement of the challenge is to use BYOC products from at least three different designers. For this layout, I used products from FIVE different designers!
