Oh, y’all…today has not been my best!
Every time I think that I have a handle on our new routine in this new place, I am reminded that I do not. There is still much to be done and life doesn’t return to normal as quickly as I would like it to.
I really need to be more patient and give myself and our family adequate time. I’m praying for more and more patience in that regard and I would covet your prayers as well.
I finally decided this afternoon that I had to take some time to get some things organized so I could function.
I organized my desk area which was a complete M.E.S.S. and I’m finally getting around to posting our menu for this week.
Since joining Weight Watchers and going to meetings on Saturday mornings again, I’ve been doing my meal planning on Fridays and grocery shopping on Saturday mornings after the Weight Watchers meeting. I tend to make better food choices right after a motivational meeting and I need all the help I can get!
Here is our very simple meal plan for this week…
Sunday – Crock Pot Cheesy Chicken & Rice
Monday – leftovers
Tuesday – Spaghetti & Salad
Wednesday – Pork Tenderloin & Steamed Veggies
Thursday – Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta & Green Peas
Friday – Hail & Farewell Dinner for my husband and I (chicken tenders & fries for the kids)
Weekend – Lemon Pepper Tilapia & Roasted Asparagus
