I was recently invited to join a Bunco group with some friends.
Tonight will be our first night and I have to admit to being a little nervous and a lot excited!
I have never played Bunco before, but I’ve heard that it’s a lot of fun, especially for a group.
I’m excited about meeting new friends and fellowshipping with them. I am finding a wonderful community here in El Paso and I just could not be any happier about that. It’s what my heart has been craving for years!
We were asked to bring an appetizer or a dessert and, of course, I picked a dessert.
I am so excited about bringing this Oreo Bomb Cake tonight…it promises to be a keeper and it was super easy to put together…no baking required!
It only requires three ingredients…milk, Oreo cookies (three packages), and Cool Whip (three 8 oz. containers).
The first step is to dunk cookies in milk and layer them in the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish.
Next cover that layer of cookies with cool whip.
Then repeat two more times for a total of three layers of milk dunked Oreo cookies and cool whip.
To top it all off, just take the leftover cookies (yes, you will probably have some left over after the three layers) and crumble them up in a ziplock bag. Then sprinkle the crumbled Oreos over the top of your dessert.
Place in the refrigerator to cool for 6-8 hours.
I made this dessert before beginning school this morning and it will chill all day.
Yumm…the hardest part is waiting all day to dive into this treat!
