This week is Homeschool Room week at the Not Back to School Blog Hop.
I seriously debated whether I would share about our homeschool room or not because time was getting away from me. AND also because it’s really not that different from last year’s homeschool room.
We’re in a different house in a different state on the opposite side of the country, but our set up for homeschool is pretty much the same.
Our homeschool room is located in the front living room area of our house. Each of my “students” has a desk of their own to do their independent work, but they are also free to work at the dining room table. We also utilize our couch, beds, and window seats for read alouds, which we do a lot of.
We have lots and lots of books. I use the bookshelf pictured here to house most of our curriculum, but we also have two other bookshelves in this room that contain picture books, past curriculum and other resource books.
On the wall we have chore charts (which don’t get checked off everyday due to Mommy error and forgetfulness), a calendar, and We Choose Virtues posters.
And that’s about it…this is where we do school and life together. If you have any questions about specifics of how we set up our homeschool room, please feel free to ask away!
