I had the perfect Saturday…sleeping in, relaxing morning, and lots of scrapbooking! It was just what I needed today.
Here are the scrapbook layouts I completed this week. Most of them were for monthly challenges at The Lilypad. With the completion of these layouts, I have done all of the challenge layouts for this month, which was a goal of mine.
First Day
This layout was for a Creative Team assignment using the School Days journal cards by Paislee Press. These photos were from the first day of school last year. I have plans to use them for this year’s first day of school photo shoot as well.

Lessons Learned
This was for the scraplift challenge. I chose to scraplift a grid-type layout, 2012 Fearless Matthew Maine, by Bestcee.
This photo is of Jenny reading near the end of our homeschool year. The two of us had an amazing homeschool year. She was really a joy to teach and I am looking forward to moving on to first grade with her. I recently listened to an episode of the Paperclipping Roundtable where the discussion focused on titles. After that I was inspired to make my title a more integral part of this layout.
Play Hide and Seek
This was for the photography challenge. The challenge was to play with photo processing. I changed these photos on this layout to black and white so the background would be less distracting.
I love this series of photos of three year old Will playing with Jenny! They were both so adorable!!
I am building a pinterest board for Scraplift Inspiration and for this layout I scraplifted a layout that was pinned to that board.
Sweet 16
This layout makes my heart so happy…I think I’ll have it framed!
I scrapped this layout of Keith and I for the Random Challenge, which was to scrap a numbers focused page. The number focus here is “16” for our 16th anniversary that we celebrated this year.
