Our weekends have become very predictable.
It’s too cold to do a lot of touring and fun sight seeing, so Saturdays have become my errand running day.
I’ve also started taking a Yoga class on Saturday mornings with some neighborhood friends. I don’t have any photos of that (yet), but it has become a very enjoyable part of my weekend.
Will was full of words on Friday afternoon while Keith was out running with EA. He had to school me on Captain America and other super heroes.
Oh, my sweet Cupcake…she’s so much company for all of us!
Before Yoga on Saturday morning, I went to breakfast with my friend Becca from our homeschool co-op. She teaches my girls’ creative writing class and I have enjoyed connecting with her so much! We met for breakfast several weeks ago and talked for three hours straight! Yikes!!! We were very careful to watch our time this week, though.
Keith is so good about letting me get out of the house on Saturday mornings, so I was happy for him to have the mid-day to visit some fun places around Leavenworth.
One of the places he visited was an old school diner. It was very local and he enjoyed his lunch there.
Taking a #sundaymorningselfie before getting out of the car for church has become a “thing” for us. We’re having a lot of fun with this!! No, they’re not the best photos, but they are fun for us!
One of the kids left this on the couch before leaving for AWANA on Sunday evening. Too bad our Panthers didn’t win the big game…
EA was so comfy in her slipper that she accidentally wore them to AWANA on Sunday night. Ha! My husband sent me this photo of her. I’ve accidentally done this myself a few times. Poor EA ended up playing dodge ball in those slippers!
Even though our weekends have become predictable through this winter season, I still cherish the extra and relaxed family time we have!
I hope you had a great weekend yourself!
Have your found that your weekends have become predictable?

I love yoga too! Have you heard of Holy Yoga? Yahweh Yoga? Yoga Faith?
Doing amazing things – there could be a teacher near you! None near me, sadly…..

Oh, how fun, Gillian!! I have heard of those, but I don’t think there is one near. While we were finishing up on Saturday I thought how I could see how Yoga could be worshipful. I would love to find one of those!
