This weekend was filled with two things…saying goodbye to good friends (sad!!) and wishing Jenny a Happy 5th Birthday (happy!!).
I don’t have a lot of pictures with our friends and at the parties we had to say goodbye to the. I decided to just be present in those moments with them.
I did get one good snapshot of my kids with their friends at our goodbye party at the park on Friday afternoon. This group of friends have been such a blessing to us and especially to my children during our time here in El Paso. They opened up their hearts and their lives to us and for that we will be forever grateful.
Jenny’s 5th birthday was a really hard one for me. I was tearing up all week at the thought of my baby growing up so fast!
I miss having a baby…all of mine are growing up on me!
We decided to just have a family party at home and we invited her friend to come over for a playdate to celebrate with us.
I ordered a frozen yogurt cake for her from Menchie’s and it was so incredibly good!!!
Her cake was layered chocolate cake, pure chocolate frozen yogurt, nutella topping, oreo cookie topping, tastes like cake batter frozen yogurt and frosting with rainbow sprinkles. It was also so sweetly decorated with Sophia the First.
Jenny was so sweet with all the attention on her. Every time someone wished a happy birthday or when she opened her presents she blushed and said the sweetest, “thanks”.
What a sweet girl!!!
