We had a gloriously full weekend full of fun, togetherness, a little pampering and lots of enjoying life!
For me the weekend officially begins the moment we call our school day done on Friday afternoon.
We’re trying to make a habit of celebrating the end of a successful week by going to a nearby park with friends.
It’s always so good to see the kids run and play with their friends.
They get to enjoy the beautiful spring days that El Paso offers.
And I love having time to chat with my friends at the end of the week.
We have been blessed with rich friendships here in El Paso…rich friendships and beautiful sunny days!
What more is there to ask for? Absolutely nothing in my book!
MC was such a good sister to spend some time teaching Jenny her letters on Saturday.
Jenny is one lucky girl to have two big sisters who take such good care of her and enjoy spending time with her.
On Saturday I was able to get out a bit for some pampering. I had my hair cut and colored. I went full on red for the first time! Red is the color I was born with, but my hair has darkened over time and a few too many grays have been sneaking in, so I took a brave plunge and told my stylist to make me a ginger! I’m really, really loving it. It feels like ME!
My oldest three took part in the Kids’ Day program at our church on Sunday. Seeing them on stage made me tear up just a bit. They’re getting so big and my time with them is fleeting. It’s a good reminder to cherish our days together and pour into them while I can.
How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun?
