This layout was created this week to document my 40th birthday, which was on Thursday.
The theme came from this word art in the kit that reads, “Always find time for the things that make you feel happy to be alive”.
I just love that!!
It’s something that I have honestly learned to do and have embraced over the last few years.
And it’s something that I’m still learning to do more and more.
My journaling on this page reads,
Forty. Today I am 40. And, really, all I can think about is how time flies because I definitely don’t feel my age. Maybe…just maybe…that is because I have learned how to embrace myself and YES making time for the things that make me HAPPY!
For this page, I used a square selfie that I actually took on my birthday.
I veered from my normal style with this layout in that I used almost every embellishment in the kit! I hardly ever put so much stuff on the page, but I really love how it turned out. My goal was to “circle” the photo with embellishments.
The papers, elements and alpha I used for this layout all coordinate and are a part of a collection by Pink Reptile Designs that was just released this weekend for the September BYOC at The Lilypad.
