1. Festival of Hope El Paso
I am so excited about Franklin Graham’s Festival of Hope that is coming to El Paso in just two weeks (April 2-4)!!!
Check out the video below and if you’re in El Paso…I hope you’ll be there!
2. FROZEN movie night
We’re having a FROZEN movie night at our house tonight. I pre-ordered the DVD and it arrived on Tuesday, so we made plans for a movie night with the kids tonight. We’ll be having pizza around the coffee table (because movie night HAVE to include pizza) followed by ice cream. Because…ice cream is the best frozen food ever!
Throughout the day leading up to our watching of Frozen, the kids will be doing activities that I found online.
Check out this post from Mom Endeavors for tons of FROZEN party ideas!!
Are you getting tired of hearing everyone in the universe sing “Let it Go”?
No?? Me either.
Are you tired of all. the. parodies?
Yeah, me neither on that one, too!
3. Spring and World Poetry Day
Yesterday was the first day of Spring…yay!!! Spring is my very favorite season of the year. I love the warm weather and sunshine that comes with spring.
Also, today is World Poetry Day, so for our freewriting in school today, the kids wrote Spring Poems.
EA and MC especially loved this activity!!!
Their poems are hanging up on the wall now and they can’t wait for their daddy to see them when he gets home tonight.
4. BARRE3
I’ve added BARRE3 workouts to my routine in addition to walking and all I can say about that is OUCH! Apparently I’m doing something because muscles that I didn’t even know existed in my body are hurting.
I love that these workouts are available online, they don’t take a lot of additional equipment, and they can be done in as little as 10 minutes a day. Those ten minutes are packed!
5. Elephant Inspired Paper Pack
I’m playing around Photoshop and trying my hand at designing some papers. Doing a little bit of designing is something I’ve dreamed of since beginning digital scrapbooking many, many moons ago. I just did this little paper pack for fun and thought I would offer it to you.
I was inspired by the Elephant Hues color palette. I subscribe to Design Seeds and am often inspired by the color palettes they share!
I plan to offer more freebies to you in the future as I continue to learn and “play”, so I would really LOVE your feedback on these.
To download the paperpack, just click on the above image or use this link.
Do you have plans for the first weekend of Spring?

Thank you so much for the lovely papers. I too enjoy color pallets and am always changing
colors on the kits I purchase. As busy as you are, how do you find the time to be so creative?
Kelly Blackwell says
You have inspired me and tired me at the same time. Looks like a wonderful Spring is ahead! Thank s for sharing.
