I spent some time last week catching up on my Project Life layouts.
I love doing these, but I’m learning that all it takes is a little discipline each week to keep up with them.
Week 4
Left Side
The biggest event of this week was my surgery. I’m so thankful that Keith’s mom was able to come and take care of me during my recovery. We enjoyed her going to church with us on Sunday and took her to eat at one of our favorite restaurants after the service.
Will made me a “get well” card by recycling a card he made for Jenny the week before. He simply crossed out her name and replaced it with mine. Ha!
I’m thankful, too, that the kids didn’t lose a lot of school time. They were able to keep up with most of their assignments and I was able to do some school with Jenny from my bed.
Right Side
Getting that surgery out of the way really gave me a brighter outlook on life! By the end of the week I was feeling so much better and tried to get some candid shots of the kids playing.

Week 5
Left Side
I spent this week being worried about Cupcake who wouldn’t eat after taking her in for a routine check-up at the vet on Monday. Turns out she was just mad at me and took a few days to get over it. Such drama from my sweet kitty!!
On Sunday evening I enjoyed some quiet reading time in my car when the kids were at AWANA and youth group. Am I the only person who loves quiet time sitting in the car?
Right Side
I took the kids to Freddy’s for frozen custard on our way home from co-op this week. That’s such a fun treat for all of us!
Will has been super focused on writing in his journal and making to-do lists.
My favorite time of the day is the mornings…I love quietly sitting and reading my Bible while sipping on coffee.
After taking a few weeks off, I was back to walking on the treadmill and taking care of myself again!
