Before visiting Colonial Williamsburg on Friday, we stopped for a picnic lunch at a playground inside the city.
This was by far the best playground that we have ever taken the kids to.
There was tons for them to do and play on. And several different areas sectioned off by appropriate age ranges.
While there I realized that my girls have reached an important milestone…they can now push each other on the swings.
This is just a small reminder that they are doing more and more on their own.
They are growing more independent with each passing day, it seems.
It makes me wish I could just stop time for just a bit.
It makes me want to cherish each and every moment that I have with them.
And it makes me want to celebrate every single new victory that they achieve.

What a great milestone to reach right before Jenny arrives and your hands become a bit more full. I was just at the park this morning with a friend whose youngest is the age of my oldest, she was telling me how last summer they hit the milestone where all 3 of her kids can swing on their own, no pushing needed!
