One personal goal I have is to be better at sending thank you notes and teaching my children to make this a habit.
Last week, I designed thank you notes for them to give to friends who came to their birthday party in Photoshop using Zoe Pearn’s beautiful kit, A Little Bit of Sparkle.
I printed these out and trimmed them to card size and then scored them with my Martha Stuart scoring board.
This scoring was a Christmas gift from my husband and it was so nice to use!
The folds on these cards were nice and crisp thanks to this scoring board.
My girls spent a good portion of the afternoon writing out thank you notes to their friends so they could deliver them at church that night.
I used my Silhouette Cameo and sketch pens to address envelopes for each thank you note. I LOVE using sketch pens for addressing envelopes! I even did this for sending out Christmas cards this past year.
I also used the print & cut feature on my Silhouette to print out little stickers for the flap of the envelopes…so much easier and fun than licking them!
My girls had fun decorating each sticker.
It took a little time and effort, but I am so thankful that we completed these thank you notes…and had fun doing them!
