It has been such a busy week. Not bad busy, though, just a really good, full busy!
I’ve been trying to find a balance between spending time with friends here and really cherishing our last moments with them and preparing for our move.
I tend to follow the policy of try to get as organized for the move as I can, but don’t stress because in the end, the packers are going to pack it all whether I’m fully ready or not.
In the midst of this busy season, I have much to be thankful for. One thing that I am so thankful for is this practice of writing out and counting my blessings. It grounds me and reminds me of what’s truly important right now.
Here are the blessings I am counting right now…
976. happy music at the carousel museum
977. little girls smiling as they go ’round and ’round again and again
978. fun mirrors
979. ice cream cones
980. quiet Sunday afternoons
981. spotting a turtle on the sidewalk
982. iced coffee
983. evening walks with Susan
984. making Oreo pudding pops
985. watching Garfield at the Coterie Theater
986. lunch at Fritz’s
987. coming home to a clean house
988. clean and organized kids’ rooms
What blessings are you counting?
