So, here’s a funny story for you…
Last night I sat down to work on my Project Life layouts. I looked on here and saw that the last spread I posted was for week 6, so I began work on week 7. My photos were already edited and put into a folder, ready to be used.
Once I created the two-page spread, I began to save it and Photoshop notified me that the file for week 7 already existed and asked if I wanted to replace it…huh?
I checked and guess what??? I had already completed this layout and just completed the same layout a second time!
I looked at the two layouts and decided to go with the first one, but I was super surprised at how different the two were. I was honestly pretty happy with both of them!
I was also surprised that I had not remembered working on this layout at all! It’s just proof that I am getting old and possibly senile. 🙂
Here’s my layout for week 7 of this year…it was the first week that Keith was here visiting, so it’s filled with lots of fun memories!

The thing I cherish the most about Keith’s visit home is that we didn’t do anything extraordinarily special…we just lived life together.
As I was putting these photos into this layout last night I was struck by how this is such a gift. It is a gift for myself and for my family for who knows how many generations to follow that we have these everyday moments preserved and documented.
It is a gift that I am truly thankful for!
