I changed things up quite a bit for this year’s Project Life layouts. Today I am sharing weeks 1-4, which covers the month of January.
This year I’m going with a one page layout for each week, at least for now when we’re mostly inside and now doing a lot. I am using a template that allows for a little more photos within the one page.
I experimented this week with framing around the photos, but it was a bit more extra work and did not continue this for the other weeks.
Week 1
January 6 hit hard. I didn’t have the words to write about it, but I wanted to acknowledge the day. I decided to use a simple journal card with the text “Grieving” and the date.
I committed to doing 30 Days of Yoga with my daughters.
EA has been doing lots of sidewalk chalk art in our front driveway. The neighbors have appreciated it so much that they dropped a box of sidewalk chalk by for her…that was a fun surprise!
Week 2
Keith and I had a meeting together to start planning our PCS to Germany. My first task was to make lots of appointments!!
Will built his Lego Yoda that he got for Christmas this year. It was an impressive build!
Week 3
After a hard start to the year, we fully celebrated Biden and Harris’ Inauguration Day this week!! We took the day off of school to watch the festivities and had Jeni’s ice cream as a treat with dinner.
Week 4
This was a week where not much happened at all. The one exciting event was Keith putting on his uniform to go in to work.
