By the time I posted the last picture of our second day at Disneyland, I felt just as exhausted as Will looked in that photo!
So exhausted, in fact, that I haven’t had the energy or desire to edit pictures or even look at this blog to post about our last day at the Disneyland Parks until now.
On our last day at Disney, we got into California Adventure an hour early and there was no waiting to get on the California Screamin’ Roller Coaster. This was MC’s favorite last year and we were able to be in the very first group to ride it.
She loved it!!! She screamed the whole time, but it was a happy, excited, thrilled scream.
Will begged to go on this after MC. Neither Keith or I thought it was a great idea, but he was insistent that he wanted to do it. I’m all about letting my kids try things, even if they fail. Sometimes you have to try scary things to know. I told Keith that if he wanted to do it, this was the best time to let him do it. I would be with him and it wasn’t crowded at all.
He was so excited…until the ride took off at full speed.
Poor kid! His face turned bright red and he held his head down the entire time.
He wasn’t so happy with me when we stepped off the ride. He declared roller coasters to be off-limits from here on out.
We spent the rest of the day riding all of our favorite rides and visiting some favorite attractions, ending the day with the Fantasmic light show.
Visiting Cars Land put Will in a better frame of mind to enjoy the day after his roller coaster experience.
We were able to take a ride on the Trolley all around California Adventure for Jenny. She loves riding on the trolley! It’s her absolute favorite thing to do.
We had such a fun family vacation at Disneyland Resort filled with memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime!
