My reading from 1 Timothy really challenged me this morning.
In Paul’s instructions to Timothy on how to treat people in the church, he ends with, “I charge you to keep these rules without prejudging, doing nothing from partiality.”
Those words, “doing nothing from partiality.”
How often to I truly heed these words in my own life, in my home, and in my community?
How I desire that these words would speak truth into my life and I would be found faithful in doing nothing…absolutely nothing…from partiality.
We are called to honor all people, regardless of circumstances and their or our own life situation.
Every person I come across has dignity and worth because they were created in God’s own image.
They deserve respect and impartiality.
It is my desire to live out this charge from Paul in my life.
And I created a print to help remind me of this desire and Paul’s charge.
I am offering one for you as well!
