I’m running a little late with posting my menu today. We started back to homeschool today and I’m determined to stay focused and not blog until our homeschool day is complete. If that means I’m later in posting something, then that’s just going to have to be okay. We did have a great day of school and I’m so very thankful for that!
I am trying out a website to help with my meal planning and weekly grocery shopping trip. Plan to Eat was recommended by my friend and so far I am really loving it!!! I’m doing a 30 day trial, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be signing up for an account when my trial is up.
It was so nice to enter my recipes, schedule them out and then have Plan to Eat generate my shopping list. I’m in the process of adding new recipes and I also want to make a good list of our “regular” meals to cut out some excess. I’m trying to limit myself to one new recipe each week. It’s hard because I really do love trying new recipes.
Here’s what’s on our menu plan for this week:
Sunday – Fish Tacos
Monday – Chicken Enchiladas with Sour Cream White Sauce
Tuesday – Soup (from freezer)
Wednesday – Spaghetti & Salad
Thursday – Chicken Fingers & Fries (it’s my Bunco night)
Friday – Baked Pork Chops & Au Gratin Potatoes; Vegetable
Saturday – Pizza
