I have a goal of taking (at least) one photo a day over the next year. I’m using the Collect Photo App to collect these and create a calendar photo collage with them.
My husband texted me today to let me know that for him (because Korean time is 14 hours ahead) it was October 6…three months from the day he left. That means that we only have 9 months left!! That may not sound great, but every month down is a huge success in my book!
September was a busy months for us, but it was also a month of taking steps to truly take care of myself.
During the month of September I began taking advantage of the Walmart Grocery service, ordering my groceries online to be picked up at the store every Wednesday. This has helped me so much!!!
Another step I took in taking care of myself in September is using a house cleaning service. Mo-Kan maids are cleaning my house every other Wednesday when we’re away at our homeschool co-op classes. Yes, Wednesday is a day to be celebrated around here!
The kids began Sunday night activities at church. EA, Will and Jenny are in the AWANA program and MC is attending youth group. This gives me one kid-free night a week. I’ve taken adventage of it by eating (and reading) at Panera and doing some shopping.
I love how you can see the season changing to Fall in the photos throughout this month, with our last photo taken on our field trip to the Apple Orchard with all the girls wearing plaid.
My food and drink photos this month include frozen yogurt at Sweet Frog, hot cocoa (a favorite bedtime drink), some treats brought over by a Sunday School friend, my Panera dinner, and my favorite caramel apple pie Talenti gelato…yum!
Cupcake made a few appearances in this months photos…sleeping on the kids’ books, waiting to pounce on flies at night and playing with EA.
I love getting this glimpse of our month with just one photo taken each day!
All of these photos (and more) were shared on Instagram, I would love to have you follow along there!
