I have the words of Dora the Explorer running through my head…
I did it!
I did it!
I really, really did it!!
I am totally and completely caught up with my 2013 Project Life layouts and it feels like such a huge accomplishment!
I really prefer to scrap my Project Life layouts week by week and keep them current and up to date. I know it doesn’t matter to many people and they don’t mind being “behind” or even consider themselves “behind”, but it makes the project so much more “fun” for me to be up to date on my layouts.
I did weeks 5 and 6 over the weekend when my husband was away on a retreat. That is how I spent all my free time on Saturday. I also got started on week 7, but I didn’t complete that and week 8 until last night. Monday nights are my normal day for working on Project Life layouts.
So, let’s take a look at what I have…

I also decide to include two 6 x 8 inserts for this week. They’ll fit (front & back) inside a 6 x 8 page protector between the left and right sides of my weekly spread. I chose to keep the background papers the same to help with the flow of these pages.
The first insert is for Valentine’s Day:
The second insert showcases swimming lessons.
Including inserts will be something new this year and I’m excited to see how they’re going to fit in the album.

Wow, I am in awe that you are all caught up! Congratulations! It really is a huge accomplishment. Your layouts are so much fun, I like how bold they are, and they really pop with the big shadows giving everything a lot of dimension. I really like the cool graphic look of your title cards as well, with the way you’ve shadowed them, they look like they’re made from chipboard. I am inspired!
