I am so behind in my Project Life scrapbook pages!!! But, that’s okay…I’ll just keep plugging away.
I am playing around a bit more with the templates that I’m using to make it work when I don’t have seven photos for the week. I like the way this turned out. I resized several of the photo layers and moved them around a bit since I didn’t use one.
One struggle that I’ve had with digital scrapbooking is making realistic shadows on my pages. When I first started scrapping and posting my layouts in an online gallery, my shadows were way too big. Someone commented on it once and then I started being overly careful about it.
I am a big believer that any hobby should be fun and when there is one problem that you keep having as you’re learning to improve in that area, it’s okay to find a good workable solution.
Last week I found just what I’ve needed to help me with my shadow work.
One Little Bird has a package of layer styles for realistic drop shadows, Shadow Like Me. These layer styles allow you to create realistic drop shadows for almost any element you would be using on your layout with the click of one button. And, of course, these can be tweaked for your own individual taste!
Now I know I won’t be so intimidated by creating drop shadows on my pages!
