I am so excited to get started scrapbooking in 2014!!!
2013 was a great year for me in terms of my digital scrapbooking, and I think this year is only going to get better. Last year I participated and completed the Month of Challenges at The Lilypad. I also maintained my creative team requirements and even had guest spots with some amazing designers. Also, in October I did my own 31 Days of Digi-Scrapping right here on my blog.
This year I’m so excited to be participating in the Month of Challenges at The Lilypad again!! It is such an incredible way to begin the year.
I completed my first layout for the Month of Challenges earlier today and it was so much fun to join this challenge!!! I’ll try to post my layouts as they are completed throughout the month.
Also, this year I’ve signed up for a year long class at Big Picture Classes taught by Stacy Julian. The class is titled Inspired Scrapbooking and I am so thrilled to embark on a year long journey to be a more inspired scrapbooker and memory keeper!
As I wrote yesterday, I’ll also be continuing with weekly “project life” style documenting and scrapbooking of our everyday memories.
I am so thankful for scrapbooking. It has been more than just a hobby for me and my family. Through scrapbooking, I have been able to capture and document our everyday stories and moments that make our life so special.
Scrapbooking has given me an outlet to be creative and to appreciate the small moments of our lives.
I have also learned to stop and see the beauty in the everyday through seeking to capture those moments.
The scrapbooking community is so very supportive and encouraging, I really hope to get more involved in the community as I stretch and grow as a scrapbooker this year.
Do you have scrapbooking goals for the new year? I’d love for you to share them!
