The kids and I are going to visit my family later this week…Yay!!
We’re all really excited about getting away for a bit to see Nanny and Papa. The kids are also excited about playing with their cousins.
AND I think there is a baby shower in the works for the weekend…FUN!
Thus, I have decided to call this Spring Break around here and take a few days off of homeschool before we leave to finish up some projects around our house.
I want to finish organizing our homeschool room, hanging curtains and pictures, cleaning out the car, and that kind of thing.
I’m excited to finally having some time to devote to these things. It’s so hard when the day is full of school and daily cleaning and maintenance of our home.
What are your plans for the week?

Sounds fun! We’re taking our spring break the week after Easter and I hope to tackle some household projects as well. This week we’re celebrating St Patty’s day and going to a children museum and also celebrating the first day of spring.. AND it’s supposed to be sunny and warm from Tues-Sat. SO I hope to get lots of time outside!!
Have a great time with your family!!

I have been planning our vacation to DISNEY that we are taking 4/17-4/24!!!!! We have been homebound since Lilly (Jerry’s grandmother) went on Hospice in January, and she cannot be left alone– so to go to church on Sunday, MOPS on Tues or ANYWHERE, I have to arrange a sitter for her. Needless to say, a vacation is NEEDED. We just decided the first week in March to do this– when we got our tax return. I am considering it an investment in our family and MY SANITY. 🙂 I am SO EXCITED, and honestly, have been having almost as much fun planning and anticipating the fun as I will have when we actually go!!! 🙂 We won’t tell the kids we are going (or Lilly, for that matter) until Easter, when the trip is only 2 weeks away. My mother-in-law, God bless her, had agreed to come and stay with Lilly while we are gone. :):):) So, I am researching what to pack, which rides to ride first, where to eat, making reservations, etc. Nathan is out of school this Friday, so there will be lots of playing on the swing set, riding bikes in the driveway, and playing sword-fight with our pool noodle “light sabers” this weekend. 🙂
I hope you have a GREAT trip and fun time with family this weekend!! I’ll be praying for your safe and sane travel. 😉 Love ya!!!
