Since our temperatures are finally starting to get cooler, I have been anxiously awaiting my next Stitch Fix. I specifically asked my stylist, Jess, for some fall pieces to add to my wardrobe. I love that she knows my style so well and got perfect pieces that not only coordinate with each other, but also with items that she has included in other fixes.
With this fix I received two tops, a pair of jeans, a cardigan and an infinity scarf.
Let’s take a look at the items included in my October Stitch Fix box.
Just Black | Addison Skinny Jean in Dark Green | 6P | Keep
Olive & Oak | La Roux Dolman Knit Top in Coral | S | Keep
I immediately paired the skinny jeans with this dolman top and love the way they looked together!
The Just Black jeans are a perfect fall color that will be great with many of the pieces I already have in my closet from my own shopping and previous fixes.
I was afraid of getting jeans in this fix because I’ve put on **ahem** a couple extra pounds that I’m trying to lose and thought they may not fit, but I was nicely surprised that these skinny jeans had enough stretch that they fit perfectly. I have come to really love the jeans I’ve received from Stitch Fix. Their quality is better than anything that I usually purchase. These in particular are so soft and comfortable!
Speaking of soft and comfy…I could live in this dolman knit top!! It will look nice with these colored jeans or denim jeans and I want to try them with black leggings as well.
Octavia | Nolan Houndstooth Infinity Scarf in Light Grey | Keep
Scarves are an accessory piece that I’m wanting to add more of to my wardrobe and learn to wear with more confidence.
I only own a few scarves, so I was happy to receive this one! It’s in a color that will coordinate with many tops. I paired it here with the coral dolman top that I received.
I love that my styling guide came with instructions on how to wear the scarf. And I love that this is an infinity scarf because there’s no tying necessary…ha!
Dahlya | Poppa Open Cardigan in Tan | S | Keep
This cardigan is super cute!!! This is such a perfect piece for layering when the seasons are changing. Jess mentioned in her note that it will pair well with the coral top in my last fix, so that’s what I paired it with here along with a pair of boot cut jeans.
I love the cut of this cardigan along with the two-toned colors and those pockets are perfection!!! I know I’m going to get a ton of use out of this.
Lemon Tart | Kiernan Striped Elbow Patch Pullover | S | Keep
I think this may be my favorite!!!
It looks great with a pair of jeans and I have a pair of burnt orange jeans in my closet that I want to try it with as well.
This sweater is lightweight so it is perfect for fall weather. And it’s not bulky at all, which I love!
The details on this sweater are what sold me on it…I love how the collar, sleeves and waist band are in a contrasting color to the blue stripe. I didn’t show it in this, but there’s also a swede-ish elbow patch that such a unique and fun addition!
As you can see, I opted to keep all the items in my Stitch Fix box once again. I promise I didn’t set out to do this again, but I truly loved every piece that Jess sent!
And, with my styling fee, the total came out to just around $200, which I don’t think is bad at all for what I received.
