My husband started teaching our girls to play chess a few years ago. They are getting pretty good and enjoy playing with him on the weekends.
Recently, Will asked to learn to play as well.
Keith pulled out the same tool he used with the girls in the beginning, a game accurately titled, No Stress Chess. It gently teaches children how to play chess using illustrated cards for each piece.
They spent the morning learning the different pieces and how they can move on the board.
I was impress with how well Will did with learning the game.
I thought he would have gotten board after a few minutes, but he didn’t.
Will really enjoyed playing chess with his daddy!
And when they were done the girls helped Will even more by playing chess on the tile floor in our foyer.
