Today seemed to be all about meeting our favorite Disney characters.
We arrived to the park early and after taking care of some administrative tasks, we were able to be at the gate for the opening of Mickey’s Toontown.
Our first stop was at Mickey and Minnie’s houses.
It took all four of Minnie’s fingers to count the children in our family. She seemed quite amazed!
We also met Donald Duck while we were making our way though Toontown. He was not happy that we visited him after Mickey AND MC had a Mickey Mouse sticker in her hand.
He made sure to tell her that he was #1 and Mickey was #2…not the other way around.
Jenny dropped her autograph book after Donald signed it…oops!
After lunch we made our way over to Pixie Hollow to meet Tinkerbell and her fairies.
There was only one fairy around to meet…EA was satisfied with my explanation that the other fairies were busy getting ready for Autumn. Whatever works…right?
EA has been a Tinkerbell fan since she was three years old when she called her “stinkerbell”. She was ecstatic about meeting her and ran to her with arms outstretched as soon as she saw her.
These pictures just make my heart melt.
After leaving Pixie Hollow we headed over to Royal Hall where my girls met princesses. Will was such a good sport about all of this girliness!
MC asked Sleeping Beauty how much sleep she got at night and she clearly did not recognize the significance of being “Sleepy Beauty”. She seemed completely confused about MC’s question and replied, “Oh, and average amount, I guess. How much sleep do you get?”
After the excitement of meeting most of our faves, we headed back to our rooms for a little rest before dinner.
Our day ended with a parade of characters in Mickey’s Soundsational Parade.
It was amazing and the perfect ending to our first day at Disneyland.
Tomorrow is on to Star Wars and Jedi training for my little boy.

So glad the kids are having fun! Not to mention they got to meet my favorite girl who plays Cinderella. (I’ve never met her, I’ve just seen videos and pictures and I think she is like perfect for Cinderella)

Disneyland is magical! When we were there in Aug we could only meet Silvermist and Fawn fairies….no Tink. Still so fun!
