For the month of October I have a goal to scrap a layout a day to get back into a creative mojo. These aren’t necessarily all going to be fall, Halloween or “October” themed, but just a way to get back into the habit of participating in the creative hobby that I love.
Today I did scrapbook with a Halloween themed kit and was able to scrap a page of my kiddos dressed up for Halloween in 2011. Goodness…they were so stinkin’ cute!
I created this using a kit from this week’s new release by Sahin Designs, Boo and Stuff. It is absolutely adorable!!!
The kit did have six photo spots in the frame that I used, but I cut off two of those since I only wanted to use four photos.
I layered several patterned papers under the photo frame and anchored it all with a splash of paint in that beautiful teal color.
I added the scattered candies at the end because it just felt like it needed a little extra *oomph*. I’m not overly confident with adding my own scatters, but I’m satisfied with the result of these.
