As I was looking through Will’s baby photos to find a picture for yesterday’s post, I came across one of my all time favorite pictures of Will and I.
This was taken when Will was three days shy of being one month old.
He was already in love with the Moby Wrap….completely in love….and in turn, so was I.
Being wrapped tightly against his mommy’s chest was his favorite way to be.
Wearing him in the Moby and swaddling him tightly were the only two surefire things that could calm him.
On this day, we had dinner with friends of ours before leaving Ft. Campbell and beginning our move to Germany. During dinner Will began to cry scream and the only way to console him was to wrap him up, so out came the Moby! He was sleeping soundly within minutes.
I have noticed that this is still his favorite position to be held in.
When Will wakes up in the mornings or after his nap in the afternoon he loves to be cuddled. As soon as I lift him out of his crib, he cuddles against me in the same exact way that I wore him as a baby.
Yes, his head sits much higher now than it did when he was one month old, but he lays close to my chest, rests his head against my shoulder, and holds on as tight as he can as he adjusts to being awake.

I used an action from Coffee Tea Photography to edit the original photo. Let me just say, WOW!, this is my brand new favorite site….she does really awesome work! If you’re interested in editing photos at all, visit her for some great tutorials and free actions.
