I truly was motivated today because this is the first time I’ve stopped and it’s time to put the kids to bed!
I accomplished a lot today, though. It’s definitely one of those days that I’m happily tired.
Sunday – Buffalo Ranch Quesadillas & tortilla chips
Monday – Sausage & Three Cheese Tortilini & Garlic Bread
Tuesday – King Ranch Bubble Up & Creamed Corn
Wednesday – Shoyu Chicken, Rice & Broccoli
Thursday – Fish Tacos w/Cole Slaw & Mexican Rice
Friday – Breakfast for Dinner
This is our last week of summer break before beginning a new homeschool year. I have lots of plans for this week to finish prepping for the new school year and also do some fun things with the kids as it’s our last days of vacation. My husband is taking some leave days and we’re planning a day trip on Friday along with our other plans for the week.
Here are my goals for this week:
- Finish writing lesson plans for first six weeks of school.
- Make labels for workboxes.
- Take kids to see Lego Movie.
- Finalize plans for a playdate.
- Exercise 6 out of 7 days (meeting 10,000 step Fitbit goal)
- Begin working on June Project Life spreads.
- Daily Bible readings.
- Next Discipleship lesson.
- Continue reading On Gold Mountain.
- Catch up with Phone Photography lessons.
- Memorize Matthew 4:19 and Romans 2:23 for discipleship meeting.
- Review all scriptures memorized for discipleship.
- Study new curriculum.
Present: As it is our last week of summer, I want to be present with my children, enjoying my time with them, instead of being overwhelmed by everything that needs to be done.
I hope you’re enjoying your summer!
Do you have any plans or goals for the week that you’re looking forward to?
