We went to a nearby apple orchard with our homeschool group on Friday. It was a delightful field trip! And we came home with lots of apples!
On Friday evening, I made French Press Coffee for the first time and I am hooked! It was so much easier than I expected it to be and the coffee was strong and smooth.
On Saturday Keith and the girls volunteered at the Half Marathon on post. They were in charge of a water station, handing out water to the runners.
The girls were able to earn 6 hours of community service. They’re working to get 20 hours by the end of this year for American Heritage Girls.
While Keith and the girls were volunteering, Will, Jenny and I were at a birthday party next door. One of the birthday party activities was decorating pumpkins.
The girls were able to decorate a pumpkin after they arrived home.
Our weekend ended with AWANA at church yesterday evening.
I hope you had a fun-filled weekend!!
