I was able to capture this sunset while out on a date Saturday evening.
Keith and I had dinner at a ranch outside El Paso and I’ll write more about that soon.
I love capturing pictures of the sky here in the Southwest. They’re like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The sky covers this huge expanse of space and looking at it brings me to a place of worship of my Creator.
I’ve been studying the book of Hosea along with She Reads Truth. Hosea brings me face to face with the shame of my sin, but it also teaches me so much about who God is.
God is merciful and abounding in grace.
God is ever present.
He is not surprised or unaware of my sin.
He knows.
He sees.
Yet, He waits for me to return to Him with a contrite heart, broken over my sins against Him.
He calls me back to Him and He gives grace.
Grace upon grace.
With the rising and the setting of the sun, His grace abounds in my life.
And for that I am truly thankful.
