Hi guys!!!
I’m so excited to be back with another Project Life spread for this past week. I love, love, love scrapping our current life!
There are two thoughts swirling around my mind in regards to project life right now that I’d like to share as well before we get to this week’s layouts.
On Saturday I went to a “Favorite Things” gift exchange and brought some 4×4 Project Life albums by Heidi Swapp as my “favorite things” gift. I was a bit surprised that they weren’t the first gifts to be grabbed up. In fact when they were taken, it was mostly with the thought of “oh, my daughter may enjoy this…she likes taking pictures” or “this may be nice for the grandparents”. Those are both great sentiments, but I was surprised that the women that I was gathered with didn’t have a personal interest in documenting their own stories, their own memories, and their own photos.
Sometimes we can get some involved or consumed with an activity that the love such as memory keeping that we think it’s something everyone else loves as well. That isn’t always the case. And that isn’t necessarily a bad thing…it’s just a thing that I noticed.
We all have unique interests, gifts and talents. None better or less than another.
I also realized what a gift it is that I have this love for photos and words put together and for storytelling and memory keeping. I am thankful for that passion.
Also, in listening to Jamie Ivey’s podcast this morning, her guest made this statement that has me thinking…”We all have a desire to create something”. I agree with that whole hardheartedly. Our creator God created us in His image to create. We all create in very different ways, but we all have a desire within us to create.
Project Life gives me the opportunity to create and I love that!
Okay, now on to this week’s spread…

I had a blast putting this spread together! I especially love the photos themed around our “Ugly Christmas Sweater” party. I included Keith’s facebook update and comments on that because they were just so funny!!
This week was a perfect mix of just living our regular ordinary life and celebrating the Christmas season.
I love documenting ALL THE STUFF that makes up our life!
Thank you for joining me as I do just that!
