I so excited to share with you my Project Life spread for week 6 of this year!!
I did something really different to solve a problem of not having very many photos for this week. See, I was sick with what I think was the flu and in bed for three days straight. That means that I didn’t take very many pictures at all. And because my husband was busy working and holding down the fort while I was sick he didn’t take many photos either.
I ended up with just a handful of photos for a two-page spread. Uh…problem!!
Let’s take a look at the layouts for this week and I’ll show you how I solved this problem…
Left Side
I created my left side as I typically do, using the photos I had. Yes, these are the ONLY photos I had for this week!
Right Side
For the right side, I used a template with all 3×4 journaling card spots and filled them with some of my favorite journaling cards from the newest Memory Pockets Monthly collection, Giggle.
I duplicated one of the square cropped photos of Will and Jenny dressed up playing to go on one of the journaling cards and I found another photo of all of the kids laughing (this was actually from a different week) and clipped it to one of the 3×4 spaces.
Here’s the full two-page spread:
I am SO happy with how this turned out!!!
I hope that I don’t encounter this problem too often with my Project Life album, but I am very pleased with how I was able to solve it with those adorable journaling cards!
