When Will was given his first set of Hot Wheels cars, he did something that I found a little odd with them.
He meticulously lined them all up across the carpet in our living room.
My husband assured me that this was very much a “boy” thing to do.
Don’t you just love the look of concentration on his face as he carefully lines his cars up?
This page was done as part of the Tuesday Template challenge at ScrapMatters. I love using templates when I’m scrapbooking…it gives me a great place to start and teaches me how to place elements and papers, which I struggle with on my own.
This week’s challenge was hosted by designer MyeDeLeon and her template featured layers and clusters.

Nick would do that as a 2-4 year old. He would line them up and push them quietly, and then line them up again. I felt uneasy and thought it was strange. Now that he is almost eight, he plays with things a little more creatively!

Anna loves cars, and she did this too! Still does! One of her favorite things is her car play mat.

So glad my daughter isn’t the only one that does this LOL!! My daughter is 3.5 years old and is always lining up her trains and/or tiny princess dolls. Sometimes she plays with them, but mostly lining them up. The funny thing is she will do patterns – 2 trains, a princess, 2 trains, a princess. Crazy what kids do!

Yep, its a boy thing. 🙂 My youngest lines them up and then gets down really close to them and just looks at them! It’s so funny! Hope you and your family are doing well!
