Last year I had a blast attending the Blissdom blogging conference in Nashville. I loved connecting with other bloggers and was able to make some important decisions about my blog as I reflected on the weekend.
I decided against going to Blissdom 2011 only because I’m nursing our newest baby, Jenny, but I sure am missing it!!
My friend Ann at Household6Diva is hosting a blog hop for those of us who won’t be attending Blissdom, but would still like to “meet and greet” other bloggers.
Just like at Blissdom where you meet new {and old} bloggy friends, you have a chance to mix and mingle by visiting the other bloggers signed up on the Mr. Linky.
With that said, I guess I should get to introducing myself…
Hi I’m Monica!!
I am a stay at home mom to four children, EA, MC, Will, and Jenny. EA and MC are five year old twins. Will is their three year old little brother and doting big brother to Jenny. Jenny {pictured with me} is our sweet seven {almost eight} month old! My husband is an Army chaplain and we are currently stationed in Virginia.
I write about lots of things here at Daily Dwelling…from funny antidotes about the kids to more serious devotions. I love taking and sharing pictures of my children and their silly antics. I also enjoy digital scrapbooking and share my creations here, but it never seems as if I have enough time for that hobby.
Above all else, I am striving to “dwell” on those things outlined in one of my favorite verses of scripture, Philippians 4:8.
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.
If you’re here from the Blog Hop…Welcome! Please stay a while and look around. Feel free to read more about us in my About page, browse my archives and most recent posts and subscribe if you like what you see.
Thanks for visiting! I look forward to visiting you as well.
Happy Blog Hopping!

I have never been to a blogging conference. Though, I think it would hopelessly still-blissfully- overwhelm me.
One of these days…

Hi, I just stopped over from the Blog Hop. I’m pretty new to the blogging world, but I love the look of your blog and the verse from the Bible that you quoted. I met an Air Force chaplain in North Dakota that has been known to quote that same verse a time or two.
Annie @ Mama Dweeb says
Hi! It is wonderful to meet you! I wanted to go to Blissdom too – but going with a nursing 6 week old really gave me some reservations. Well, I am glad I didn’t because I found your lovely blog!
I will be visiting more after this blog hop, because I love hearing stories of life with more than 2 kids. I have 3 and feel like my life is a never ending pile of chaos! But with God, somehow, I have not lost my mind (completely) yet.

So glad I stopped by, what a cute little one. I have many friends who are chaplain families. We served for 6 years, 3 in Germany. wondering if you maybe know the CH Middlebrooks? So very nice to see all these military wives on the Hop. I miss that connection, wish that blogging or facebook had been around then. Have a blessed day.
