I am proud to be a military wife.
I am proud of the sacrifices my husband has made to serve his country and to minister to soldiers who are serving.
Being a military wife is hard, no doubt about it.
It takes a lot of work, patience, self-sufficiency, bravery, and stamina.
The blog, In Good Measure, created this infographic to honor military wives.
Please keep in mind that these are all average statistics.
My favorite part is the lend a hand section with some practical things that you can do for a military wife. These are especially true for military wives whose husband is currently deployed.
And I would say that the most important of those are listen and be a friend. These sound pretty simple to do, they’re not very flashy, but they mean the world to a military wife who’s just trying to survive each day.
