Sunday mornings can be so rushed, hurried, and stressful trying to get myself and three little ones ready for church by 9:30. Quite simply, there is a lot to be done.
So, I am so appreciative when a Sunday morning affords me some time to read an meditate on God’s Word.
This morning as I read 2 Peter, I was challenged by the following four verses:
For this very reason, make very effort to supplement your faith and virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 1:5-8
I pray that you have a wonderful Sunday morning, worshipping and resting.

good stuff…I went to my computer Bible and looked at it in several versions…The Living Bible really laid it on the line “enjoy other people” really smacked me this morning. (I like people…just in small doses and at a distance until I decide I’m comfortable with the person in question. But that doesn’t match vs 7 in TLB) Oh me, not even dressed for church and been made aware of an area God desires improvement in.; Thanks for sharing that 🙂
