My daughter, EA, is like me in that she likes her day to be structured and planned out.
One morning this week she sat down with {colored} pencils and paper to draw and write out her plans for the afternoon.
From one to two o’clock she had intentions of napping on her bed. This is the first hour of her “quiet time” that goes from 1-3. She hasn’t napped since she was a little over three years old. But that doesn’t stop her from making plans to. Most days she tells me that she’s going to take a nap during quiet time, but that never actually happens.
From three to four o’clock she made plans to play outside in the bright sunshine!
Do you make plans for your days at home?

That is so cute! I love it!
I do try to make plans… perhaps not so time specific, but more like chunks… from brkfst to lunch do this… lunch to quiet time this… quiet time to practice…

This is absolutely precious. I need to make plans. I pretty much “go with the flow”, but the Lord has really been speaking to me about keeping myself on a better schedule. I’ve let too many things go.
