I was able to scrap one more layout during my respite time this morning. I have been trying to “go back in time” and do some pages of the girls when they were babies. I enjoy doing current pictures so much, but I have to remind myself to backtrack to all those pictures I missed.
She was an adorable baby, wasn’t she!!
The toy MC is laying beside here was her very favorite as a baby. She chewed on those antennae so much that they were absolutely gross! Both MC and Will had toys as babies that were definite favorites. Will’s was a musical frog. I don’t remember Elizabeth Anne having a specific toy that she was attached to.
Did your children have favorite toys when they were babies or were they content to play with whatever happened to be nearby?

That is so beautiful! I haven’t done any scrapbooking, but looking at what you are doing, makes me want to start. I don’t think my little one has any one favorite toy, he loves them all at one time or another.

All of my kids like to rub things on their faces.
Graeme loved the corners of his blanket and would lay down on his tummy, reach his arms back and say “CORNERS” – he would then pull them up and rub them on his cheek as he settled in for a good nights sleep – that was his goodnight ritual.
Blaire Rose & Paige have bunnies. This began when I used these small stuffed bunnies we received as gifts to put between their pacifier and their hand so they didn’t bat the binky out of their mouths. They then progressed to rubbing the bunny ears on their cheeks as they settled in for bed. They have always had to leave their special toy in their room, so that helped keep them clean and I wash them regularly so they keep smelling decent.
{All 3 of my kids slept on their tummies from a very young age (read: week one). We kept a close eye on them, but found that they did so much better that way!}

You do such BEAUTIFUL layouts. I am impressed with the time you put into them. I can only imagine how lovely your books are.
As for luvies…
My son had (still has) a little lamb blankey (it has a lamb head on top and the butt and feet on bottom with a square of material in the middle) He calls it his baby. baby used to go everywhere with him, but she then graduated to staying in his bed only. My 2 year old has a baby also but it is a little white dog with pink trim. Same rules apply. We got an all white bear baby for the baby and it stays in her crib, but I don’t think she really cares about it. She sucks her same two fingers every time she is tired and strokes her ear. Talk about low maintenance. 🙂

Yes, I remember that toy!! Beamer chewed the first one and I went to the internet and found one just like it and had it shipped express mail! Anything for our precious Mary Catherine.
