It has been took long since I’ve been intentional about counting and naming my many blessings. Of course, since our move, I cannot find my journal where I kept them all written down together. {Oh, I just love this Army life of constant moving!} I am thankful that I kept these right here so that I was able to go back and see just where I left off.
This weekend I felt a drawing to be more intentional about this again.
As I wallowed in self-funk and hovered on the brink of depression yesterday I was reminded that I have too much to be thankful for to allow Satan to grab a strong hold.
So, today I begin counting right where I left off. I’m creating a new category on my blog for my naming and counting my abundant blessings…”Blessings All Mine”. Whenever I think of the blessings that have been bestowed upon me by my creator God, my mind tunes into the song, “Great is Thy Faithfulness”.
Great is His faithfulness to me.
Greater than all of my fears, my shames, my doubts and my sins.
Greater than my selfishness.
Greater than my wallowing.
Greater than my failures.
Greater than the comparisons that I can never live up to.
His faithfulness is greater than all of these earthly things that I wrestle with!

624. My husband’s encouragement…I don’t know what I’d do without it

You’ve brought me to tears on a Tuesday morning! I needed this today. I especially love “622. Teaching my daughter that we can turn the day around”

Thanks so much for this great post! My littlest is dealing with an intense virus and I had a breakdown yesterday, but God reminded me of all of the friends, and parents in this world who’s children are that sick or more sick on a daily basis. I am blessed because my girls are pretty healthy in general.

🙂 Love your guts! Proud to have made the list. 🙂 It made me smile at how many items on your list involved coffee. 🙂 Ha!
PS-
If I were a betting woman, I would bet that #629 will be about pint-sized dish-washers. 😉
